Compliance and Operational Risk Manager

The Compliance and Risk Team is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all Funds for AFM and Administration services.  It ensures over-arching Compliance with the FCA handbook, Conduct of Business and System and Control Rulebooks. The role is made up of the following components; compliance monitoring, operational risk oversight, FCA fund applications, regulatory change and regulatory reporting.

Investment Administrator

The Investment Administrator supports investment related activities including transfers, corporate actions and static data changes. The team maintains back-office systems, performs fund set ups and new securities, prepares KIIDs, factsheets, R&As and meeting packs, and conducts regular checks and maintenance of fees, fee calendars and fund matrices.

Reconciliations Administrator

The Reconciliations Administrator is responsible for the daily reconciliation of cash and stock positions and the management of breaks. The team produces key fund reconciliations i.e. Cash, Stock, Balance Sheet/Profit and Loss to third party records, ensures monthly reconciliations are submitted to the Depositary within agreed timescales and liaises with Depositary in respect of queries on reconciliations and any other issues.

Settlements Administrator

The Settlements Administrator has daily responsibility for the settlement of trades, the management of fails and the identification and management of risk within a specific market group, or for a specific set of clients. The team run daily reports and investigate large volumes of data to find and resolve differences in trade economics. The role involves trade matching and generating affirmed confirmation to initiate settlement to the respective custodian, identifying risk and root causes of non-settlement, and working as a team to input resolutions to achieve settlement and mitigate risk.
